1. About The Encounter Global

The Encounter Global is a faith-based nonprofit outreach organization dedicated to bringing communities together through worship, prayer, service, and the message of Jesus Christ. The Encounter: Jesus in the City 2026 is a free, two-day citywide event open to the public.


2. Use of This Website

The Encounter 2026 is a free public event. No ticket purchase is required to attend. Certain activities, food distributions, and resource giveaways are available while supplies last.

3.2 Volunteer Registration

By submitting a volunteer application, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your application
  • Comply with the instructions of event coordinators and staff
  • Represent The Encounter Global in a respectful and Christ-centered manner
  • Understand that volunteer roles are assigned at the discretion of event organizers

3.3 Church & Ministry Partners

Organizations applying to partner with The Encounter Global agree to:

  • Align with the mission and values of the event
  • Accurately represent their organization in all submitted information
  • Fulfill any commitments made as part of the partnership agreement

3.4 Vendors & Food Trucks

Vendors and food truck operators agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable local health, safety, and business regulations
  • Operate within the designated areas assigned by event organizers
  • Maintain conduct consistent with the values and atmosphere of the event

3.5 Sponsors

By sponsoring The Encounter 2026, sponsors agree to:

  • Honor the payment terms and sponsorship level agreed upon
  • Allow The Encounter Global to display sponsor branding as outlined in the sponsorship agreement
  • Understand that sponsorship does not grant editorial control over event content or messaging

4. Code of Conduct

All attendees, volunteers, partners, vendors, and sponsors are expected to:

  • Treat all people with dignity, respect, and kindness
  • Refrain from disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior
  • Follow all instructions given by event staff and security personnel
  • Respect the faith-based nature of the event and its programming

The Encounter Global reserves the right to remove any individual from the event for conduct that is unsafe, disrespectful, or inconsistent with our values — without refund or compensation.


5. Photography, Video, and Media

By attending The Encounter 2026, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Encounter Global and its authorized media partners may photograph or record the event
  • Your image or likeness may appear in event photos, videos, social media posts, or promotional materials
  • No compensation will be provided for the use of your image or likeness in event-related media
  • If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify an event staff member and we will make reasonable accommodations

6. Intellectual Property

All content on theencounterglobal.com — including text, images, logos, graphics, and event branding — is the property of The Encounter Global and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Sharing event information for personal, non-commercial purposes (such as inviting friends or posting about the event on social media) is encouraged and permitted.


7. Donations and Sponsorship Payments

7.1 Payment Processing

All donations and sponsorship payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

7.2 Refund Policy

  • Sponsorship payments are non-refundable once confirmed, unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Donations made to support The Encounter Global are non-refundable
  • If a payment error occurs, please contact us immediately so we can resolve it

7.3 Use of Funds

All funds received are used to support the planning, operations, and community outreach activities of The Encounter 2026 and future events.


8. Disclaimers

8.1 No Warranties

This website and its content are provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
